As a volunteer at the National Archives, you might find yourself:
We are currently finalising our program of volunteering opportunities. It will include both online activities and projects at our offices around Australia.
Please complete our expression of interest form outlining your skills, expertise and preferences.
We will do our best to match interests, skills and expertise with volunteer opportunities as they arise.
The selection process may involve an informal interview. You will also need to complete a police check and suitability check, which may include a working with vulnerable people registration.

The arcHIVE is the National Archives’ online transcription portal.
Join the arcHIVE to help us transcribe consignment lists and digitised records such as Cabinet notebooks, migration records and post office records. Your work will let us make our records available to more Australians.
